A passion for food.

Of course, I'm mostly Italian, what would you expect :)
I always loved cooking (and eating!), and photographing food has come naturally to me. It's only recently, though, that I realized that the way I photograph food is not the same as everyone else's.

I still do documentary photography, even with food!
I really don't like elaborate setups with lots of artificial lights and flashes. I like to see food where it's made, to take photos of the chefs, the kitchens, the atmosphere of the restaurant...  and to show dishes in the best light and in the best way, just like I would take your portrait.

I also realized that most restaurants don't have good photos of their dishes because food photographers are complicated, and there's licences, and extra costs... so I decided to make it simple.
